In an alternate dimension, things are very different. Humans are not the dominant species they hide in fear from the things that rule this world. Darkness is all these people see never sunlight, eternal darkness rules. The creatures that roam this world are ones that in our world we only see in movies or our nightmares.

Crisp darkness was beginning to set in as the fiery burst of sunset sunk beneath the roof tops. The petite redhead walked briskly down the alleyway as shadows began to creep up around her. She was new here, and she had gotten herself lost. Calli needed breathing room. She happened to be rather clausterphobic. She needed open spaces and plently of breathing room to feel comfortable. As she trudged deeper into the alleyways, the walls seemed to come closer around her and envelope her in a mass of darkness. She quickened her past and strained to get an idea of where she was. All her heightened senses were not helping her get out of here. Suddenly, Calli smelled someone following her and could hear soft footsteps. She wheeled around the spot and looked around to see who it was.

He'd been detected and he'd meant to be. Adrien saw her quicken her steps then whirl around to face her follower. He smirked for he was the one she was searching for, but even though she could smell him. She could not see him. Yet.
Then Adrien stepped out of the shadows with a strong look as he looked at her. "Seems you've tresspassed on vampire territory. Do you know that this area is near the only bar that is open and that it only welcomes my race. No others."
With his long shoulder length black hair and vivid blue eyes, Adrien stood 6'8 and had a very menacing air about him when he wanted to be. And around lycans, he was never nice. Even if they had done nothing against him. It had been a reason of his that no one else knew of why he disliked lycans so badly. But even recently while his lover, well ex now, chose a lycan over him, was not the cause of that hatred, but only deepened his strong dislike for their kind.
"I advise you to stay where your kind is permitted around here or else you are free game to me to kill. And add your pelt to my collection of rugs in my room." Adrien arched his brow as he tilted his head a bit as he spoke his words to her.

Calli raised an eyebrow as she listened to the man's words. She was a bit startled by them, since she hadn't done anything, but she wasn't afraid. The night before had been a full moon and her senses had been going a little haywire today. She squinted against the moonlight to get a better view, but it was no use. She then replied to his statement, "A pleasure to meet you, as well. Don't get your knickers in a bunch, as soon as I find my way out of here you won't have to worry about me coming back. Trust me..." Calli had no desire to stay in this rundown town any longer. She had just wanted to go for a walk, and she ended up here. Now she just wanted to get back to the forest.

"Figures that your lost." Adrien looked her up and down with utter disgust for her. He hated her kind. And his vivid blue eyes showed it as he looked upon her.
"Why not smell your own scent and retrace your steps exactly how you got to this area." He arched a brow at her as though she should of thought of that but he figured she had not a brain that was functional. To him no lycan did have anything useful.
"But keep going in the direction you are headed and you'll end up being a rug on my floor remember." He smiled evily at her. "And I'm no tour guide so I'm not showing you the way out so you either turn around or fight me." Adrien wanted nothing better than to kill her.

"How insighteful," she muttered in a snotty tone, then added, "I don't kow if you knew this, genius, but one can not follow one's own scent. I smell the same everyday and I'm used to it, therefor I don't notice it. You, on the other hand, are not hard to smell at all..." she finished with a sneer.
She cocked an eyebrow at his last remark and said, "Funny, I don't remember asking direction from you. And by the way, why would I turn back around if you said I would end up a rug on your floor if I kept going in the direction I was headed? Seems a little stupid, to me..." This man had to be one of the most idiotic vampires she had ever come across, and that was saying something. She had never known a vampire that was completely conceited, so she wasn't too surprised that he was, as well.
She folded her arms across her chest and asked in a mocking voice, "Well, which is it, "master"? Should I turn around or stay?" She glared at him with her piercing emerald gaze, seeming to drill holes in his skull, as if daring him to answer.

"There you go twisting my words around to suit your cause of saying I'm idiotic. Well since you are so crafty with words why not answer that question yourself." Adrien had realized the lycan had misconstrude his words to make him sound stupid in her eyes but he knew his words made sense but with the lack of intelligence in her brain caused her to create idioticies that didn't make any sense on how she came up with those thoughts of hers. He wasn't about to waste any more time with her.
"Don't think you have seen the last of me, lycan, for I never forget a face and unfortunately yours is one I'd truely like to forget." He told her. "Now I'm leaving and if you dare try to attack me off guard it will be your deathly mistake."

Calli cocked a brow in interest and grinned at his first comment, flashing two rows of very sharp teeth and two enlarged canines. "Believe me, mate, I don't have to twist any words around to make you sound idiotic. You do a good enough job of that all on your own."
She rolled her eyes and sighed at his next words. She muttered, "Well it's about bloody time!" Calli then shifted down into a sleek, steely-grey wolf and slunk off into the shadows, with only her glowing emerald eyes visible.
